The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada
The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada is a not-for-profit trade association owned and governed by its members. The NGCOA Canada provides Canadian golf course operators with business support for more efficient and profitable golf facilities.
The Canadian Professional Golfers' Association (CPGA) is a member based non-profit organization representing over 3,500 golf professionals across Canada. The Association was founded in 1911 which makes it the oldest Professional Golf Association in North America and the 3rd oldest PGA in the world.
In 1966, Canadian Superintendents organized themselves to form the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association. GSA, now with close to 1,600 members, hosts the Canadian International Turf grass Conference and Trade Show each year in March and organizes frequent regional education seminars. It helps sponsor research projects through its participation in the CTRF and produces a number of publications including its official national publication, Green Master and an Annual Membership Directory. CGSA also has an Employment Referral Service that helps members seeking new positions.
