One area of our operation that has seen considerable change is the hiring and retention of employees; specifically, summer staff. I attended Mark’s seminar earlier this year where he outlined, in stark reality, the generational differences in today’s workplace. It became very evident that we needed a new strategy in our hiring practices! By utilizing Club Jobs resources/website we were given the tools to tap into a labour pool that was up to this point, elusive to us.

The number of applicants was above our expectations from the launch. Particularly refreshing was the fact that a steady stream of applications continued throughout the summer season. There was not the traditional “drying up” of interested job seekers.
